Finally the switching had completed. From friday ( 21st Sept 2007) Hutch has changed to Vodafone Essar. The acquiring was happened 5 months back. The Hong Kong based Hutchisson’s indian operation has been transferred to British based telecom majors for 11.5 Billon dollar. How ever 33% stake are still with Sashi and Ravi Ruia who are behind the Essar. Since its vodafone made this there will be a fast development in this sector in india.
