Ever thought of an application that will automatically lock your desktop when your leave and unlock the desktop when you come back. ? This has been made possible by BlueProximity, and application developed by Lars Friedrichs.

The application makes use of the bluetooth facility, which is a standard feature in almost all mobiles. Bluetooth radio has a unique hardware ID in every mobile phone. The application uses that ID to detect the mobile phone whose proximity will unlock the desktop and non presence will lock the desktop.
